Dance and your perspective are powerful. My goal as a Teaching Artist is to give those with disabilities a vehicle for self-expression, helping them build a sense of self-esteem and self-reliance, while providing them opportunities for community recognition and acclaim. Let's work together so you too can demonstrate strength, pride and fortitude, embracing your disability with courage and beauty. I work privately, one-on-one, or with groups.
I lead 1.5-2 hour classes, single or multiple sessions, that touch on physically-integrated techniques, which include a warm-up, center floor, choreography, and cool down.
We explore creative movement, jazz, ballet, modern, African dance and hip-hop. All ages (youth
to senior) are welcome. You work on increasing your spatial awareness, balance, understanding of instructions, and social skills.
I also teach master classes in movement. Here are some of locations I have presented:
I am the founder and Artistic Director of ZCO/DANCE PROJECT, a dynamic physically-integrade dance company. We reach diverse audiences through shows and classes.
